Who this is for

KineticMath Lab is a math practice tool for children in Grades 1 to 3. A parent or guardian sets it up. Children do not create accounts, and there are no chats, public profiles, or ads.

What is stored on your device

• Your child's nickname, grade, language, and lesson progress.
• Things your child saves in My Work.
• Your email address, if you enter it, and a record that you accepted the setup notices.
• Your Parent PIN, stored as a hash (not the PIN itself).
• Your display choices, such as theme and sound.

This is kept in your browser's storage on that device. It does not leave the device unless one of the cases below applies.

What is sent to us

• Setup and report emails.If you ask for one, your email address and your child's nickname are sent to our email provider so the message can be delivered.
• Guardian sign-in. If you sign in, we store your account email with our sign-in provider. If you use Google to sign in, Google receives the sign-in request.
• Sync of lesson activity (only when you are signed in).The skill, whether an answer was right, hints used, how long the attempt took in broad ranges, and a device and household code. It does not include your child's nickname. Without an account, lesson activity stays on the device.
• Normal website logs. Our host records things like your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and reliability.

Who helps us run it

Vercel (hosting), Supabase (sign-in and storage), Resend (email), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). They process data for us to provide the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not show ads or use advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Data on your device stays until you delete it. We have not set automatic deletion times for data on our servers yet. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

• Delete data on this device: Parent Hub, then Privacy, then delete.
• Ask us to delete or show you what we hold: email hello@portalkinetic.com.
• You can use the app without an account and without entering an email address.

Limits you should know about

• The Parent PIN keeps children out of the parent area on a shared device. It is not strong security.
• KineticMath Lab is a practice tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything.
• This is an early version. Please do not enter anything you would not want stored.
